Born of French and German ancestry, I was exposed to geneaology at a very young age. My mother's family has been thoroughly researched and, since my grandmother's passing, only requires a little catch-up work. However, all of the research and cemetery visiting has been an incredible experience, and now I am going to put all we are learning to good use! I have promised my aging father that I would try to trace his roots as well.
