Born in Petersburg Virginia, March of 1946. Father was Harvey Dee Leahman. He was in the Army. We lived in Virginia, Germany, California and Panama. When he had a heart attack in Panama at age 40 we moved to Petersburg, VA to live near my maternal grandparents.

I work as a Magistrate and have been actively employed with the Supreme Court of VA for 34 years.
