Bio

We are Civil War Living Historians based on Long Island, New York portraying soldiers that make up Company K of the 88th New York State Volunteer Infantry, a regiment that was also known as Mrs. Meaghers Own.
We participate in Living History events on Long Island which include parades, school programs, encampments and re-enactments. We also are dedicated to finding, maintaining and documenting the Burial sites of the Civil War Soldiers in our area.
We are dedicated to keep alive the memory of the men that served and fought to save the Union, to assure that future generations will not forget the sacrifices of those who fought and died for what they believed in.
