Bio

I wrote "An American Genealogy: The Copeland Family of Montgomery County Kansas" AND "An American Genealogy: The Finney Family History and Genealogy."

Before 2008, I did not know anything about my grandfather William Quincy Copeland and his family. By 2009, I found out about his 9 brothers and sisters, and then I found all of the living descendants of his family. From them, I gathered information and photos and put them in a wonderful book. I connected with a part of my late father and grandfather, and all of their late relations - joining a wonderful circle of Copeland descendants.

While doing so, I also gathered photos of headstones (from family and friends, as well as taking my own), which I want to make available for future generations.

When Ralph Copeland passed in 2011, he left 100s of photos many of which have not been seen by anyone in 100 yrs! I have posted many of them to findagrave and ancestry so that their descendants can benefit from them as well! I have heard from many people thanking me for posting these 'lost' images!
