Welcome to Find A Grave and to the memorials that have been created. Just a few concerns which I have that I would like to request for if you are researching your family.

If you are using this site for genealogical purposes, I urge you to check additional sources. Check the photo of marker as well as the dates of birth and death posted to be sure they are same. I consider the date shown on death certificates as the date of the death as this is an official state document and must be signed by physician and is the closest to the time of the event. In some cases, burial dates are shown on markers as dates of death.
In many cases, there are conflicting dates of birth and death on the markers than shown on death certificates, Family Bibles, and other documents. Check as many sources as possible to verify that you have correct dates. Many times dates are transposed in error. It may take more time, but please verify all of your sources so that your family history will be as accurate as possible. There have been many links made on memorials that I created, and I do not have the time or ability to make certain that they are all correct, and thus, I urge you to verify the information.

I do not link to burial unknown memorials and please do not link or send a request.

If you do not show kindness in your request, do not expect your request to be honored. I have received numerous request in which all information could have been included in one email and not five or six emails which did not honor the deceased by the behavior of the contributor. We owe much to the generations who have gone before us and our rich heritage. Let us honor them with respect due to them.

KINDLY LIMIT PER MEMBER FOR A TOTAL OF 5 REQUEST WITHIN A MONTH. ALL ABOVE THIS WILL BE IGNORED.

Please extend courtesy of not sending duplicate requests for linking or adding information. As I understand the rules, thirty days are allowed for changes.

Transfers are made within the guidelines for Find A Grave.

I try to record names and spellings correctly as verified by research efforts.

A special thank you to the photographs that have been submitted by other contributors. The photographers who locate the graves in the heat of the summer months as well as the cold weather in winter months are the VOLUNTEERS to whom much
gratification should be expressed. To them, I express my gratitude for all of your efforts, time, and without your efforts, this site with only dates would not be the complete story as many served in military and their markers are noted as such.

May God Bless Each of You.
