Bio
I began working on my own family tree in August 2009, and I have been particularly drawn to the community here on Find-A-Grave. Given my own interest in history and teaching, I am impressed by the collaborative nature of this site and the people who work together to make it successful.
In terms of genealogy, I am particularly interested in the Edge family of Delaware/Maryland/New Jersey; the Boyers of Philadelphia and surrounding areas; the Warrens of Philadelphia and Bristol; the Bartecks of Poland and Wilkes Barre, PA; the Merry family of County Louth, Ireland and Philadelphia; the Keelers of Philadelphia; and the Bohannans of Oswego, New York.
A note on photo requests: if possible, please try to contact the cemetery office ahead of time and find out the section in which a grave resides. I cannot always visit when the office is open, but even a section letter/number is a big help. If you cannot get a specific row/grave number, I am more than willing to search for it, and a section helps narrow that search considerably. I will always give priority to those photo requests that include section/plot information.
If anyone wishes to use my photographs for their personal family trees (including online trees for sites like Ancestry), you have my permission.
