I have been working on my genealogy for over 20 years. I am the mother of 4 grown children and Nana to 2 grandchildren. Unfortunately, none of my children, at this point, have shown any interest in family history. I hope that will change at some point. After all, I was a "late bloomer" when it came to family history!

I volunteer one day a week in the genealogy room of our local library and I am a member of DAR. I am also one of many local volunteers who have been documenting the headstones of all the county cemeteries for publication. I'm a confirmed "taphophile"! I have been fortunate that most of my ancestors on both sides of my parents' families have been in this area of NW Pennsylvania for several generations, so I have been able to find many of their graves.

My family names that I am researching include (but certainly are not limited to!): Hughes, Delo, Best, McGinnis, Gates, Sherry, Henderson, Osborne, Jack, McClain, Pew, and Bennett, just to name a few.

I will be happy to help with requests of photographs of local cemeteries whenever my schedule will permit. And any image of a photo request that I fulfill may be reused by the person making the request; I just ask that you give me credit for the photo. Thank you!
