Was born and raised in Indiana. Been a resident of Missouri since college. Am retired from the United States Navy and the Public School Retirement System. Am enjoying the opportunity retirement provides to pursue my genealogical interests. Happy to take area photos for those that find traveling a challenge. Having traveled across our blessed United States, visited abroad- Europe, Southeast Asia, and Australia. I know the feeling behind Dorothy's refrain- "There's no place like home." Though I am and will always be a Hoosier at heart, my feet are firmly planted in this Mississippi mud.

When I retired my husband and I often did Find A Grave searches. If I passed a military grave, I would often take a picture and then look to see if they had a memorial. So many memorials are a military person and possibly their spouse. As I age, I worry for those memorials which I have no connection aside from also having put on the uniform to serve our country. Please contact me if you are related to any of those individuals so they can be properly transferred and given all the respect deserved.
