I am fulfilling a wish for my father. He was always interested in his past but had no way of finding a lot of information. Unfortunately he died without knowing his history. I have been working on this for several years and have just recently came across this site and found some wonderful information. I will continue this quest for my loving father. If he was alive today with the internet and all the resources now he would be so happy. His father was Samuel Langston Bowman and his mother was Lillian Mae Coats. So to honor my father I will not give up.

I have also started working on genealogy for my whole family including my husbands side of the family. I am not interested in numbers I only want to make sure that the information is correct and families are linked to their loved ones.
