Bio

I've been doing genealogical research for over thirty years.

I have used The Master Genealogist since v0.96d, way back in the DOS days, and was a frequent contributor to Roots-L back then.

I use Find-a-Grave primarily as a genealogical resource, both to find new connections and document my family (a never-ending project). I also like to create memorials for people I have known.

I tip my hat to those who work so tirelessly to create memorials from obituaries and especially those who focus on creating memorials for veterans. Those are truly worthy tasks, and great gifts.

In 2011 I entered all of the data from a published transcription of the small LeGier-Lovellette cemetery in Wabash County, Illinois. I am connected to the Lovellettes there. If you are a descendant of someone I entered there, or want to adopt a surname there, let me know. I'm happy to continue to manage everyone there, but I also think it's best when memorials are managed by descendants or relations.
