I am working on Durant, Telyea, Balch, Hodgkin, Norton, & Anderson genealogy, of Monroe county, WI & Florence, WI.

I have been interested in genealogy for as long as I can remember, & I love researching. I started out with a handful of names from my parents, and after that, I would ask anyone who was related, for additional information! As more information becomes available online, it has made it possible, for some exciting discoveries, all within reach of a keyboard. I have even uncovered some unexpected & surprising stories in the family tree. :)

I hope one day, to be able to visit all of my families cemeteries in person, and to ensure that all known members of my family have a headstone. In the meantime, Find-A-grave & all the wonderful contributors are such an amazing resource. I also hope to have the pleasure of helping, to transcribe or photograph, some of those cemeteries that haven't been visited or completed yet.
