My grandpa got me interested in genealogy when I was a kid and I've been hooked ever since. I love a good mystery and tracing my family roots, and helping friends trace theirs, has given me plenty of that. I don't care much about the dates and dashes, I want to know what happened in between ; the hardships they survived, the celebrations they lived, and what we may have had in common.
I've also been fascinated by cemeteries from a young age. I've been known to be late to things because I've driven past an old pioneer cemetery and just HAD to stop. I love walking through old cemeteries, seeing the all the different types of monuments and family names, and picturing the lives and stories that went with them.
I'm not originally from Weeping Water, but I love the history surrounding this town and the stories of the people who made it what is today.
