I am President of the Board of Directors for LAKEVIEW MEMORIAL GARDENS CEMETERY in Oil City Louisiana, and have been doing volunteer work for the cemetery for about 8 years. LAKEVIEW is a small, NFP entity serving the North Caddo Parish corridor in Louisiana. As of 25 JAN 2014, there have been 409 interments at LAKEVIEW of which there are 98 known veterans. It is supported mostly by Oil City residents and their families. I have copies of obituaries for most of those individuals interred at LAKEVIEW, and photos of headstones where available. Since I live directly across the street from the cemetery, I have ready access to the site. I would be happy to try to help with anything I can relating to LAKEVIEW MEMORIAL GARDENS.
