My name is Jennifer and this may sound a little wierd but I do enjoy spending time at my local cemetaries....for no reason other than...well just looking. It amazes me to see head stones of people who have lived so long ago that have never seen planes,cars,and everyday things that we just concider as "normal" I wonder about these people and what their lives were like, where they worked in "my" town...where they lived in "my" town...how they raised their families..etc... I am the historian of my family and have family ALL over the US. I found this wesite to be blessing in my efforts to just get a peek at my family history. I have experienced the awesomness of having requests fullfilled by volunteers. Its because of them that I get visit graves of passed on family members...leave flowers and messages. So a BIG THANK YOU to all findagrave volunteers!!! You have inspired me!!!
