I recently became interested in family history when my mother passed away. I realized a wealth of information had just disappeared with her death. It was at this time that I decided to start asking questions about family that we had no history on. I discovered this website by chance while looking for an ancestor buried in the town where I currently live. There was his complete history and the link to his son on his memorial. I never would have found their histories without this website. Since then, I have tried to add family histories, information and pictures to my ancestor's memorials. I have also tried to link children to parents through the electronic links on the memorials. I think this is a great way for families to learn about their ancestry and connect with other family members.
