I am a retired Presbyterian Church (USA) minister. I grew up in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. I served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War at Edwards AFB in California. After I completed my military service I entered the ministry. I served four churches - in Lima OH, Grundy Center IA, Kenmore NY and Naples FL - during my ministry. I am married to Carol Ann Hickman. We have two sons and five grandchildren. I became interested in genealogical research through my parent's involvement in searching out their ancestors.
