I have been researching my family on my father's side for almost 10 years now. I have run into many road blocks, but keep on keeping on. My family name is Burnette, which the "e" was added by some of my aunts and uncles and left off on others. My great, great, great grandparents settled in Georgia after moving from South Carolina. I live in Florida, but was born in Georgia. I have sisters and brothers in South Georgia and North Florida and many 1st cousins in Central Florida.
