Bio

I am Dale Pearce, born in Southern Illinois. My main interests here are adding to my family tree. I am always looking for more information about several people:
------------------
Charles E. Pearce http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GSln=Pearce&GSfn=Charles&GSbyrel=all&GSdyrel=all&GSst=24&GScntry=4&GSob=n&GRid=11623193&df=all&

- or ANY of the Pearces buried in Woodmere Cemetery in Detroit.

Charles was my great-great grandfather, and I have an old Bible with the hand-written family history of his wife, Charlotte, as well. I have never learned who Charles' father was, would love to!
------------------
James R. Dale http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GSln=Dale&GSfn=James&GSmn=R&GSbyrel=all&GSdyrel=all&GSst=16&GScntry=4&GSob=n&GRid=133858492&df=all&

First, the Dale family name is now my first name. My great-grandfather was H.E. "Pappy" Dale, and my mom named me after him.

James was my great-great-great grandfather. I have been to his grave and found who I believe to be his father (and his entire family stretching back 200 more years), and asked around the town, but nobody knew... I'd like to solidify this link with facts!

--------------------
More to come - I've been researching for nearly 20 years now, and every time I gain more knowledge, it leads to more questions!

My mother's family is Greek - so ... virtually impossible for me to trace beyond oral knowledge.
