I was born in Bonham, Fannin, Texas where my Jenkins Family had lived since about 1856 starting with GGGrandparents, Wilburn and Catherine Jenkins. I descend from one of their son's, Hezekiah W. and Jane Ann Stephens Jenkins.
One of their son's, Ellis Allen Jenkins married Daisy Elizabeth Fox of the Joseph and Rachael Fox family. My father was born in 1907 to Ellis and Daisy. Daisy Fox Jenkins died in 1910 when my father was 3 yrs. old. My quest is to find any information I can about the Fox and the Jenkins Families of Fannin Co. Texas. The Fox families came from Jackson Co. Tennessee and the Jenkins Families from Madison Co. Alabama while the Stephen Family came from Benton, Tennessee. I now live in Belfair, Washington after leaving California where I lived a while. I and my brother now seem to be the oldest in our families and it is hard to get any word of mouth info so would appreciate any help from anyone out there knowing of these family connections.

My maternal side is Comer and Knight. Grandfather, James Lucius Comer, son of James C. Comer and Della Smith Comer. Grandmother Anna Laura Knight, daughter of James J. Knight and Laura B. Johnson Knight. I believe the Comers from Georgia and the Knights from South Carolina at one time before coming to East Texas.
I search for Jenkins, Stephens, Fox, Bragg, Comer, Knight and Johnson mostly and also am ready to assist others in anyway I can. I have been very active in Genealogy and research for a number of years and have been to Salt Lake City doing research.
