My name is Brenda Patterson-Morriss... I discovered this site through a sweet lady helping me do my genealogy search.....

I recently (actually for the 4th time now), have started my genealogy search.. hopefully I can get farther this time than I did in the past......

I am a Patterson/Barry.... My personal searches include....
Patterson, Barry, Billings, Johnson, Wheatley, Caldwell, Arthur and Smith.... so far....

After trying to search for my distant relatives in other states and cities.... I completely understand how helpful it is to have someone help with photos of markers or searching for information when you live far away....

I would be more than happy to help in a search for a relative or take photos of a gravesite in the Wichita Falls, Texas area....
I occasionally go to the cemeteries in Clay, Jack, Archer, Young, Throckmorton and Wise counties as I have family in these areas also....

If I ever post a memorial that is a relative of yours and is not related to me... I do not have a problem in transferring the memorial to you....
To me, as I have discovered it is for some on here, it is not about how many memorials you can control, post, own or say that a particular area is your territory....but about keeping family together.... so for me to transfer a family members memorial to you that I do not have ties to... you do not have to be within the guidelines of the 4 generations that are grandparents or siblings.... these memorials do not belong to me..... they should belong a family member....
