Retired and living in Louisiana. I try to work on genealogy as often as possible. My 13th great grandfather was Sir Thomas More. I have been a Catholic but with the church's stand on homosexuality, I am rethinking my religious views. My youngest daughter was killed a couple of years agol, I have a living daughter in Indiana who doesn't want to be part of my life. I also have six grandchildren and three great grandchildren that I am aware but do not get to see or have communications. It's hard to combat neglect or lack of communication with a child who isn't in your world and has been an enabler along with an ex who wants to believe the worst in me. They don't realize how I have changed. Life isn't always fair.
