Genealogy has been a passion of mine for some twenty years now. We are all the sum of a lot of different people, and yet if you go back far enough, we are all descendants of the same people.

I believe all our ancestors should be remembered. The Find-A-Grave memorial site is a great way to do that. I am grateful to all the volunteers who make this possible.

However, there are many ancestors to which I cannot locate their resting place to memorialize. Consequently, on ancestry.com -- I keep a detailed family tree, including all the ancestors known to me. I will also often post on these numerous family lines and the ancestors associated with them on my blog. See link below:

Just about every memorial listed here under my account is related to me in some way, and it has been most enjoyable meeting new distant kin. Genealogy is a fun hobby of mine, so I am happy to try and help others if I can.
