Have always been interested in family genealogy. Been at it since abt. 1996 online and since early 1970's the hard way...paper trails. LOL! Have really enjoyed doing it for not just my own ancestors, but friends asking for help. I love helping folks with their research also. Over the years I'd inherited many documents and photos of family and wanted to put them out here to share for others looking for true dates and info to have and enjoy or add to their own lines. Since finding findagrave I've not just enjoyed putting family, but close friends in it, to share with others giving tribute to their loved ones memorial that can't always visit their loved ones graves. I've started with my own immediate families, going down the line with distance family and also adding close friends now that has passed over the years. I feel everyone should have a nice memorial to be remembered. People can visit them anytime that way. Appreciate findagrave for starting this for us all.
