I first became interested in genealogy as a teenager (my maiden name is Merrill) and loved learning more about my Merrill/Tippets and Ashcroft/Butler ancestors who helped settle Arizona in the late 1800s. I have been able to devote more time to research, etc. these last few years after we retired and returned to Arizona and have found Find a Grave to be a helpful site.
