Bio

I am and always have been fascinated with where I have come from, which has led me to researching not only interesting family members in my past, but uncovering and laying to rest family stories for other people as well.

I am proud to be assisting Find A Grave with the addition of local data, ensuring not only is our past preserved, but is also available to those who are seeking their relatives in another land.

I am of English descent, my forebears on both sides of my family both chosing to emigrate to New Zealand, my fathers in 1882, and my mothers slightly later in the early 1900's, as they first spent many years in Queensland, Australia - a difficult, tragic and heartbreaking time for them as a family. New Zealand was a new start, and they thrived here in this wonderful land.

I am proud to be a Kiwi, am proud of my heritage, am fortunate that my lineage is relatively easy to trace, and this is why I am happy to give back to a past time that has given me so much.

Please contact me if you have any requests for information relating to any of the people that I have added or in fact any that you are seeking in this area, we have extensive research facilities and information available here in Whangarei, can not promise anything, but would love to assist those who are seeking their loved ones.
