Bio

I grew up most of my life in New Jersey and moved to the Buffalo area some years ago. Started out as an amateur genealogist when I was handed a shoebox containing old family documents, along with some family secrets. Now I am researching almost every day, and enjoy the mystery of finding the people in the data and putting together someone's life story.
A graphic artist for many years, then a caregiver, I'm now retired. I spend my time pursuing my interests of walking through cemeteries, photography and a need to be of help to others.
The paranormal, and sci-fi have been a life-long interest, as I've grown up with events that couldn't be normally explained. I play folk guitar, write poetry, love dark chocolate, enjoy a good ghost story, haunted castles, old english gardens, and family histories.
Vincent Price, the actor, once said, "A man who limits his interests, limits his life."
I take those words seriously.

All photos taken by me have no claim and are FREE to use. Transfers will gladly be made to family members on request.

PLEASE NOTE:
Due to an experience in requesting transfer of family members, I was made aware of the 'restrictive guidelines' of the Find A Grave management and the possessive collector who is not related, yet has the right to retain their 'acquisitions'. Please know that I harbor no such restrictions on my part of transfer requests. Family, regardless of generations removed, as a relation to the person, will be gladly transfered.

That said, the person that goes out to rescue and record the many thousands of headstones and keep their existence from fading into oblivion has my full respect and gratitude! I know the hours spent and the often difficult conditions some cemeteries present to those who undertake this mission. So to all of you, a heartfelt thank you!

I'll also say, that my intention is to connect and unite family. Bringing us together through a sense of belonging to our shared family history. For me, it's bringing us all home, giving them a place in our lives, and giving our lives meaning, perhaps a purpose.
Finding our starting point gives us perspective of not only where we've come from but where we are going.
Good journey to all.
