Bio

I started researching my Wallick family tree in 1975. The first edition of my Wallick family history was titled "Hans Michael Wallick's Descendants in America 1732-2012. This book focused on how the descendants of Hans Michael Wallick (aka Hans Michel Walck) spread out all across America from his initial home in York, Pennsylvania. I updated this history book with a second edition titled "Hans Michael Wallick's Descendants in America: European Origins from 1623 - Volume I". This book explains how we know for sure that Hans Michel Walck left from the village of Walldangelloch to come to America in 1732. It also traces back our Wallick/Walck family two more generations in Germany to near the city of Kempten in Bavaria. The book also proves via DNA testing that the three main Hans Michael Wallick lines in America are true biological cousins to each other. It also includes DNA evidence proving that the descendants of a Deitrich Wallick (also from York, Pennsylvania) are NOT biologically related to Hans Michael's descendants. There are also two other second edition volumes. Volume II is a large descendant chart with over 8,000 names tracing both the male and Wallick female lines. Volume III is a PHOTO ALBUM that compiles many Wallick family photos gathered over the years on our Wallick family web site.
