Daughter of Marshall & Rosemary Hill. I had one brother, Wesley Hill. I was born January 18, 1947 in Walnut Ridge, and raised in Hoxie. Live next door to grandparents, Ellen & H.P. Montgomery. Started school at the Hoxie Colored School until the fouth grade, and the first "challenged" desegregation of AR happened and the school were consolidated. Graduated from Emerson High School in Gary, IN, received BA from Philander SMith College, 1964, and am pursuing MPA in Public Adm, and minor in African American History.
