I became interested in my family history back in high school (1980-1984, Deer Valley High School, Glendale AZ), When I discovered my family tree hand written in the family Bible. This tree showed that I was a direct decendant of John Lovejoy (1622-1690), son of Rowland "of England". John came to Massachusetts in 1638 ot the age of 16 abord the ship "Arabella" however I have learned through some research that it was the ship "Confidence" that he traveled on to the New World.
Since High School I have lost all the information that I have gathered, and lost access to the Family Bible after my father, Kenneth Ellis Lovejoy passed away in 1998. My grandfather was Jesse Kingsbury Lovejoy (1883-1971), my great grandfather was Arthur Collins Lovejoy, and my great great grandfather was Dr James Collins Lovejoy (1819-1905). Beyond him, I must rediscover until I reach John Lovejoy again.
While doing research one day, I stumbled upon Find a Grave. I typed in my great great gradfathers name, and to my suprise, I found a photo of him...The first one I have ever seen! I have his nose and eyes my friends tell me.
About me? I was born June 15, 1966 in Fullerton California, and was raised in the Phoenix (AZ) area. I currently live in Euclid Minnesota with my wife Tiffany, and two step kids, Abigail and Demario. I am the Senior Pastor if Victory Christian Fellowship Int'l, and served as the President and Senior Pastor of Ambassador Ministries, Inc. in Phoenix Arizona from 1999-2007. I have a Ph.D. in Religion, and an honorary Doctor of Divinity degree.
