I don't consider myself a transcriber; just a hobbyist. My first day graveyard hopping was spent in 5 graveyards: Harmony Methodist Cemetery in Somerset twp close to Monroe and Noble Counties, Captina Friends Cemetery, Center Cemetery, Glencoe Cemetery and High Ridge (United Presbyterian) Cemetery; all in Belmont County. On other days, I also found the East Finley Friends Cemetery in Washington County, PA. I have taken photos at Shortcreek Friends Meeting near Harrisville, in Harrison County, OH, where my grandparents are buried. I am a member of Stillwater monthly meeting of Friends, so visit there often, and Speidel Cemetery is on my way home. I'm very familiar with the area, and I keep a county map in my car. I am willing to turn over management of posted memorials to interested people if they are not my own ancestors or if they are more closely related than I.
