I guess my love for genealogy came from not knowing or growing up with my family. And so the search began...who am I and where did I come from? I've since found all my siblings and parents, though it took many years to accomplish.
I've been working on genealogy for 8 years now. Most of my ancestors lived in Pennsylvania and Ohio, though for a brief time they lived in New York. They originated from GERMANY.
My husbands family originated from St. Mawes/Falmouth, Cornwall, ENGLAND, although half of them ended up in Cardiff/Swansea WALES. I have managed to trace them back to the 1730's.
I've hit many a "brick wall" and am still trying to break a few down.
