Barbara has been involved in the human resource field since 1995 in varying capacities from Analyst to Human Resource Director, in government, nonprofit, university and private sector settings.

Barbara has served in director and president capacities on various boards and civic associations. Barbara earned her B.S. degree in Business Administration and Management from Virginia Commonwealth University in 1988.

Barbara is a native of Richmond, Virginia. She is a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, and several historical societies, including the Virginia Genealogical Society.

Interests include genealogy, cycling, travel with her husband, and history.

Barbara is researching direct family lines to include: New, Turner, Burnett, Felts, Land, Clifton, Newman, Lagasse, Lovitt, and others, along with numerous allied lines. Barbara welcomes contact with others researching these lines.
