My research includes Beenes, Parkers, and Hastings starting in Tennessee. I have been following the branches to other states and the roots back to North Carolina and Virginia. The climb certainly has been fun. I am also researching my adoptive families including Roberts, Altom, Shipman, McCutchan, Mayfield, and Boothe.
