Hi! I originally found this website while doing some genealogical research on my family and thought what a wonderful project this is. I have asked and received a few photo requests from other states and decided that volunteering some of my time photographing local cemeteries would be the perfect way to "repay" the kindness of individuals who have helped me out. Please consider devoting some of your own free time to this very worthwhile cause. Some of our cemeteries are in such poor condition, if the tombstones are not transcribed soon, they may be lost forever. It is sad to think that these individuals who are laid to rest could be gone without a trace. I can't tell you how much it means to someone in another state or someone who can't travel to have that tangible piece of their family history provided to them (free of charge!!)to add to their ancestorial history puzzle.
