Bio

Hi, My name is Sarah and I am a native Marylander! Born, Raised & Bred!

I worked in law enforcement tracking "bad guys" from my computer giving detectives new leads to solve cases. I thought since my daughter is finally able to give me some quality R&R, I would try to track down my ancestors. Afterall, I can kill 2 birds with 1 stone--sharpen my researching skills and solve some of our families' greatest mysteries. Although new to the Geneolgy scene, I find myself absoultely obsessed with finding my long lost relatives and realizing that its not much different than chasing "bad guys". Who would have thought?...I spent years of my life chasing down "bad guys" I wish were dead; now all I do is wish those that are dead to be alive so they could help me chase down the answers. I have to tell you, some clues have me flat out stumped! Yikes.

I must say that researching my family roots has given me an opportunity to become closer to my family. It's great listening to stories and watching people go insane because they can't remember their great-great Aunt that always wore too much perfume. I am receiving e-mails and phone calls everyday from relatives I haven't spoken to in a while. They are wondering if anyone served in a War - oh and yes my favorite question - Do we have any pirates in the family?

I look forward to this adventure and if there is anyway I can help you, please don't hesitate to ask! Happy searching!
