His children grew up in Logan Co near Lewisburg/Eplys. His wife, Lurany Jane Riddle, decends from William Riddle (aka William the Tory Riddle) and Cornelius Roberts who was killed and scalped on the Black Mountain on the KY/VA border. Surnames are Roberts, Benton, Riddle, Bond and Pruitt.
