I am the daughter of a World War II veteran. As a child my Dad and I walked many, many cemeteries as my Dad stopped to pay his respects to anyone with military service. He would often work to learn more about these soldiers. I now share that love of learning who these brave men and women were, and if they were killed in action, what were the circumstances, if available.

Memorial Day is my favorite holiday. I love to visit cemeteries filled with US flags, stopping to take a moment to thank each person who served.
