My name is Gary Poynter

I am a Poynter Genealogist/Family Historian & Researcher and will be trying when time allows in doing Grave Photography & Grave Dowsing in Shelby co. IN.

I have been working in Fairland, Boggstown, New Palestine & Brandywine Cemetery.

I created the POYNTER GENEALOGY NETWORK over 15 years ago gathering over 100 cousins and researchers from across the states and even other countries.

Following in the footsteps of the first Poynter researcher/historian/genealogists and attempt to
carry on the great work left to us by
(PMP) Philip M. Poynter
and cousin (WLP) Wm. Lee Poynter
that began some 1oo years ago.
Not to mention many other current cousins and researchers who also continue the hunt.

I live in small town in Shelby co. IN and working on old local lost cemeterys and loading my loved ones who have crossed over.

I descend from Nathan Poynter & Nancy Franklin Bird - Cicero Deckard & Ocia Boyd of KY.
Barren co. KY.

Nathan was s/o Wm Pointer & Sarah Sallie Chapman
m. 1788 Lincoln co VA/KY.

I have a BARREN CO KY & Gamailiel (Monroe co Ky) Cemetery books and can do lookups.
