I started researching my Ancestry in 2007. It all started after remembering my dad never got to know his dad "Kellie Ernest Smith" because he died a month after his mother became pregnant with him. I saw a picture of his head stone around 2013 and wasn't for sure it was him until I was able to got to the Walthall area in March of 2019. When I went to the Grave site it was so EASY to see that it was him because he is buried right beside his Mom & Dad. Thanks to Find a Grave along with Ancestry research it all helped put the pieces of the puzzle together in finding my long lost family members.
It is so vital that we do the proper research to make sure we have the right names with the correct grave markers because there are so many different spellings, same names and even sometimes i
they are located in the same general areas. I hope to help someone put their puzzle together in a way that they are confidant and sure of the final results and know they have found their long lost "But not forgotten" relatives.
