Bio

Howdy, my name is Mary or Tutsie/Toots/Tutie to family members, depends which member.
I live in Northeastern Oklahoma, and have been researching my different family Ancestors for several years now.
I have found some very interesting info. on the Goin & Hoisington families. These two families came together in marriage in 1903, with my g-grandmother Gerty & my g-grandfather Earnest Goin.
This is a work in progress.

On my Father's side are: Collier, Hampton, Choate, Brown, Hicks, and Na-ye-hi-ya ~ Cherokee.
This is also a work in progress. I know my Cherokee side did come to Indian Territory now Oklahoma on The Trail of Tears or "Trail Where They Cried" from Turkey Town, Alabama. My Trail ancestors were lucky, because they made the trip via steamboat. None of the 250 Indians died enroute.
My present day family all have Citizenship in The Cherokee Nation.

Mothers side are: Goin, Hoisington, and Daily.
