I became interested in my family history after both of my parents died. The relatives I have listed are in my family. My Dad was Alvin Perry Wright from Cleveland Co, NC and my Mother was Annie Ruth Hill from Franklin Co. GA. All of my immediate family are buried at Pisgah Baptist Church in Casar, Cleveland Co, NC.

In my research, I have found a lot of differences in age listed at birth, military and some of the census reports, which leads me to believe no one wanted to tell their real age or maybe even some were not sure of their exact birth dates. Even my own Dad was listed as Alice Perry Wright instead of Alvin Perry Wright. We always celebrated his birth on Dec 31 1919. I have found birth showing at birth in Jan 1920. Since my Dad is no longer living and he was born at home as a lot were, I will continue remembering the Dec 31 1919 date.
