I am working on finding the whereabouts of my family's remains, while building my family tree as well as transcribing what my father in law has done for Hubby's side.

My ultimate goal is to have an obit for every entry I make, and my family all linked together on Find A Grave as well as in a gedcom file. I have found where others have entered my maternal grandparents, their parents and other close family, and have not been able to get them to comply with my requests, so unless I can get Find A Grave staff to make these transfers, I sadly will not see this dream realized. :(

I do intend to load others into the site as well, but my main concentration is my family. Should you find that I have entered one of your family members, and you would like maintenance done, or a transfer (as long as you are closer to them than I or hubby) I would be happy to work with you.

While looking at my entries, it seems that a lot of the families are sticking to a handful of cemetaries. It is not my effort at this time to transcribe cemetaries. I will create a virtual cemetary for those not related to me and populate that as applicable.

Find A Grave is only as good as the people who help to populate it, and for the most part this is a wonderfully friendly group. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
