Bio

I've been researching my family tree since 2004. It began with a need to somehow connect with the great grandmother for who I am named, and became a wonderful obsession that consumes my spare time 3 -- 4 months out of each year!

As a 2nd/3rd generation descendent of Italian immigrants, my desire is to honor those who came before by preserving their memories for the generations to come.

I'm amazed at the wealth of genealogical resources available out there-- particularly those online like this site. I'm even more amazed at the generosity and willingness to help I've found in others on a similar quest!

Buona fortuna a voi tutta!

Researching surnames in the US & Italy:
Bonaduce, Cipriani (Terlizzi, Bari, Italy)
Verdino, Fiorentino (Sarno, Salerno, Italy)
Scioli, DiSciascio, Della Penna, DiPretoro (Guardiagrele, Cheti, Itay)
Mottola (also Martello in the US), Bruno (town unknown, Salerno, Italy)
Bucato, Lombardi (Muro Lucano, Potenza, Italy)
