Bio

I am a native of Barren County Kentucky. My parents are the late James and Doris 'Groce' Smith. They are buried at Cedar Flats Cemetery in Metcalfe County Ky. I now live in Plainfield, Indiana and have been married to my husband, and (my best friend) Timothy Smith since 1970. I have two beautiful, congenial daughters, Penny and LaWana, and five precious grand children: Levi, Lacey, Carl, Melanie and Michael. Michael and Melanie are twins.
I am in the medical field for a large heart hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana; Maybe if I lose mine, they'll find me a new one. :)
My hobbies are writing Poems, Sewing, Photography, Crocheting, and most dear to my heart, is my art. I am a professional landscape artist in oils, and I do portraits in charcoals. I dabble in other mediums time permitting. I love genealogy....and my little shih-tzu dog Augie.
I have one sister, Judy Wilson who I am very close to, and proud of. She is a psychiatric counselor in south central Ky. Besides that, my sister is a very talented woman, and a hoot when we are together. No one can make me laugh like my sister can. I have three living brothers: Eddie, Gary and Larry, and one who passed away (Jerry) in 2006. I love my friends, co workers and family. I have been truely blessed in this life. When I look back on my youth I always Thank God for many of my unanswered prayers.
