I enjoy genealogy & history, so have found "Find a Grave" to be a good source for some of that information.Family names I am researching include the following: Cranford,Batten, Blake,Hopkins, Brewer, Walker, Shoemaker, Dowell - mainly in NC. Also info on Cranford's from early (as in 1600's, 1700's) in MD is of great interest. I am an interior designer & marketing manager. Love animals, done a lot of animal rescue work w/cats, photo here was of family pet Julie who passed away this past year, age 15, of kidney disease!
