I am Janice Stouffer. Charles Comfort Johnson was my great grandfather. I have a photo of him and his wife, Sophronia Wray Johnson. I just need to figure out how to scan them so I can put them on sites.
I would be interested in hearing from anyone who is a relative. We have great grandmother,Sophronia's memory book from her funeral at the First Christian Church in Beloit, Kansas, but do not have an obituary for my great grandfather. I would love to have a copy on his.
Charles Comfort and Sophronia's son, Charles Sumner, was my grandad. He went by Sumner and married Jessie Hazel Sproul Johnson at Edmond, Kansas in 1913. Their son Charles Wayne Johnson was mentioned under Charles Comfort's survivors. They also had two daughters:Hazel Lucille Johnson and Dorothy Mae Johnson. Dorothy is my mother. Grandad Sumner passed away in April, 1924 in Kansas City, Mo. but resided near Morland, Kansas.
