My parents were George Ira Adams & ; Faye Athene Walker Adams (Both are deceased both U.of Texas Grads) my Dad family early settlers of Bosque county (Hogs Creek), my Mother family called Austin, Tx. home.
I was born in Austin, Texas 8/16/1939, reaching the age of 17 w/my parents permission I join the Army.
I was with 8th Infantry Division and was I based at Lee Barracks, in Mainz-Gonsenheim, Germany. Eventually I was transferred to Baumholder, Germany but still with the 8th Inf. Division HQ Division serving a total 6 years, June, 14, 1957 -- June, 13, 1963, Good Conduct Metal, Sharpshooter's Badge, Honorably Discharged.
I am a Catholic and believe in the Catechism of the Church and do try to follow the teaching of the church.
Married Carrol Sue Sollars 8/17/1959, We have 3 daughters living, I have 3 sisters Madelina, Pat, Vickie living, I brother (Hugh Carroll Adams) deceased and he is a fallen angel of Find a Grave
