My relationship to Keezletown, Virginia is my grandmother Louretta "Retta" Margaret Armentrout born in 1897 and grew up there. She married Gooch Vaughn Gladwell of Augusta County, Parnasus, Virginia.

Louretta's parents were James C Armentrout and Josie A (maiden name not known) residing in Keezletown, both buried in Keezletown. Gooch Vaughn's parents were Charles T. Gladwell and Buena Vista Brenaman of Parnasus, Virginia.

My grandparents moved when my late father (Elwood Yates Gladwell) was four years old. He was born in Mount Solon, Augusta Cty, Virginia and moved to Liberty, Guilford Cty, North Carolina at age of four(abt 1929-30). My late mother (Verona Mae Coble) of Greensboro, Guilford Cty, North Carolina was born in 1928, Julian, Guilford, NC. (Their ashes scattered)

Her parents were Lacy B. Coble of Clay, Guilford, NC and and Effie Lee Holland of Bensalem, Moore, NC, both residing in Greensboro, Guilford Cty at time of death.

I am one of four children, born in December 1953 and grew up in Greensboro, North Carolina. Have lived in Fort Collins, Colorado for 26 years.
