Bio

Hello. I recently graduated from Humboldt State University with a master's degree in social work and moved from Cali to Virginia with my wonderful little family--my husband of over 8 years and our three well-fed cats. I have always been interested in human stories, not make-believe or just those of the famous. I was blessed to know my great-grandmother Jerrusia for 12 years. I loved being with her, and only wish I would have heard more of her stories. (She was born in "Indian Territory" in 1901.) I think each of us tells a story, at times inadvertently, in part by the imprint we leave. And so, I am interested in cemeteries, as sacred places for those who leave before us and the stories that they leave behind.
