Bio

Long a history buff, one of my grandmothers gave me her grandfather's letters, written during the Civil War while serving in the Confederate Army and as a prisoner of war. I've primarily concentrated on updating and listing direct ancestors, though I've added information, listings and links to some of their siblings as well. I have a copy of the late Jean Dryden Christian's detailed Dryden Genealogy 'Willey and Sarah,' which she distributed to extended family in 1988.

I also add listings and gravestone photos in cemeteries I visit. If you are a descendant of one of these people within findagrave guidelines (direct descendant, no more than three generations), I'll be happy to transfer administrator duties to you.

I am no longer taking grave photographs, the hilly terrain of area cemeteries is too much for my knees.

If you have additional information, corrections, or just want to get in touch with me, email me rather than publicly posting your query. That way I'll see it faster.

Happy hunting!
